Conversations 1: Looking Back
CONVERSATIONS is a periodical publication dedicated to the promotion of new perspectives on art of the twentieth century. It documents the gallery’s ongoing programme of interviews and panel discussions, and offers a platform for scholars, curators, and most of all artists, to reflect on the legacy and influence of twentieth centuries artists on present day practices.
This first issue includes the transcription of three conversations: Antony Gormley on the early work of Alberto Giacometti, Richard Prince on the invention of ‘Rephotography’ in the late 1970s, and a conversation between Hans Ulrich Obrist and Marina Abramovic on the legacy of the mysterious Italian artist Gino De Dominicis.
